Peter’s new kids like staying inside the tube—sleeping, passing, or simply pushing one another upward and downward inside it. See the photo above? They love the tube so much that they’re fighting for its space even if the second floor of their home is off for cleaning

That’s Peter sleeping while Shantee, wearing a dog wedding gown, throws a tantrum in the background. Shantee likes being the center of attention all the time, but Peter’s content on sleeping
Good thing too, because the next events were pretty stressing for an old hamster like him—Peter had to be taken out of his portable cage for filming. The crew even filmed Peter and Shantee giving their paw prints for the “Certificate of Blessing” Rated K provided as “proof” of their “marriage.” Hehe.
More photos coming soon!
For now, just read up a bit on Shantee and Peter’s television stint through Pinoy Dog-Lover and Dog Fashionista.

He looks just like his daddy Peter! He’s like a small version of Peter, a bit frisky, but friendlier to people unlike his mom (Peter is very, very friendly—he doesn’t mind getting held at all, or that he’s just lazy).
I’m definitely keeping this one. The other three have been reserved already, but this little guy stays with me. I haven’t thought of a good name for him though! Any suggestions?
My husband Marc finally agreed to give our new hamsters away. He initially wanted to keep the new guys, but I have thought that it would be difficult for us to manage three new hamsters in addition to our Peter and Abester. After begging and a lot of coaxing from me, Marc finally gave in to his step-sisters’ request to have the hamsters:

We said goodbye to the new hamsters on the block on New Year’s Eve. The new guys would be spending the New Year with their new masters in their new home!!!
Spider-Ham, Spider-Ham, does whatever escape he can. He keeps his food, in his mouth. When he’s hungry, he spits them out.
Look Ouuuuuuut!

Here comes the Spider-Ham!

Meet the new hamsters on the block! Err… The cage, I mean
These are Abester’s new babies. There are three of them actually, the other one is just camera-shy!

It’s not that we’re being cruel, but we had to. Abester just had her babies!

He’s a hassle again to his roomie, Abester
How can he not, when he’s blocking the passage-way “downstairs?”

Careful! It’s little hamster Abester

Losing Sheero is very painful, I’m still finding it hard to write on my dog blog. Our hamsters seem to be enjoying their new house though. Besides, I’ve finally got the batteries on my camera fixed, so you’ll be seeing more of these little critters in the coming days.
